Criminal DefenseOur practice is focused around representing citizens facing allegations of criminal misconduct. The criminal justice system is inherently complicated and facing a criminal charge without competent and zealous legal representation can be a scary prospect. Attorneys were once referred to often as "Counselors at Law". It seems that nowadays many attorneys forget that the primary objective of our profession is to help people. We have years of training and experience with the justice system, courtrooms, trials, etc., and sometimes that knowledge is taken for granted. My goal is to give my clients the best representation in the courtroom that I possibly can while also taking the time to ensure they understand their case.
Typical Charges:
DUI/DWI (Driving Under the Influence)
Drug Distribution
Drug Possession
Firearms Charges (Reckless Handling, Brandishing, Felon in Possession)
Assault
Malicious/Unlawful Wounding
Theft
Robbery
Breaking and Entering (Burglary)
Gang Participation
Murder/Homicide
Manslaughter
Violent Crimes
Other Areas of Practice
While I mostly handle criminal defense work, it is often closely related with other areas of law. The following is a short list of some other areas where we can assist clients.
Family Law (e.g.. Divorce, custody, child/spousal support/alimony)
Juvenile Delinquency Petitions
Restoration of Firearm Rights
While these lists represent the focus of our practice, please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any question or problem for which you may need an attorney. If we are unable to help we can point you in the direction of someone who can.
